Birt went on to lose 7-3 against Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK). Birt lost 9-8 to Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC) where Birt responded with a 10-6 win over Chelsea Carey (Calgary, AB). Birt went on to lose 7-6 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON). Birt lost 7-6 to Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
