Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN) run at the 2019 ZEN-NOH Japan Curling Championships came to an end in the semifinals with a 10-8 loss to Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN). of the 2019 ZEN-NOH Japan Curling Championships in Sapporo, Japan;

Yoshimura finished 5-3 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Yoshimura defeated Minako Tsuji (Karuizawa, JPN) 12-2, then won 11-6 against Kaede Kudo (Tokyo, JPN) and 8-4 against Wakaba Kawamura (Aomori, JPN). Yoshimura won 9-1 against Mayu Natsuizaka (Sapporo, JPN). Yoshimura went on to lose 6-5 against Tori Koana (Fujiyoshida, JPN). Yoshimura responded with a 10-2 win over Aki Goto (Suzuka, JPN). Yoshimura went on to lose 9-4 against Fujisawa. Yoshimura lost 9-7 to Seina Nakajima (Nagano, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Yoshimura earned 23.216 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the ZEN-NOH Japan Curling Championships. Yoshimura move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 5.118 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 10th overall with 211.434 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Yoshimura ranks 10th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 211.434 points earned so far this season.
