Daniel Timo (Laufen, SUI) 8-4, then won 6-4 against Kim-Lloyd Sciboz (Lausanne, SUI) and 7-5 against Simon Gempeler (Adelboden, SUI). Pfister won 8-1 against Rolf Bruggmann (Uzwil, SUI), then won 8-6 against Michael Mueller (Aarau, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
