Todd Birr (Blaine, MN) run at the 2019 USA Curling National Championships came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-5 loss to Rich Ruohonen (Chaska, USA). of the 2019 USA Curling National Championships in Kalamazoo, Michigan;
 
Birr finished 6-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Birr lost 9-5 to Ruohonen, then responded with a 9-7 win over Scott Dunnam (Dresher, PA). Birr won 8-6 against Steven Birklid (Seattle, WA), then won 8-3 against Samuel Strouse (Midland, MI) and 6-5 against Chase Sinnett (Medfield, MA). Birr won 7-5 against Brandon Corbett (Rochester, NY), then won 11-7 against Jed Brundidge (St. Paul, MN). Birr went on to lose 9-3 against John Shuster (Duluth, USA). Birr lost 7-4 to Mark Fenner (Chaska, USA) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Birr earned 22.360 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the USA Curling National Championships. For week 27 of the event schedule, Birr did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Birr ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
