Sinnett lost 6-5 to Steven Birklid (Seattle, WA) where Sinnett responded with a 7-6 win over Samuel Strouse (Midland, MI). Sinnett went on to lose 6-5 against Scott Dunnam (Dresher, PA). Sinnett lost 9-6 to Rich Ruohonen (Chaska, USA) in their final qualifying round match.

Sinnett earned 5.919 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Sinnett did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sinnett ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
