Rick Rowsell (St. John's, NL) run at the 2019 Newfoundland & Labrador Tankard came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-0 loss to Andrew Symonds (St. John's, NL). of the 2019 Newfoundland & Labrador Tankard in St. Johns, Newfoundland / Labrador;

Rowsell finished 6-2 in the 5-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rowsell lost 9-5 to Ken Peddigrew (St. John's, NL), then responded with a 7-6 win over Dave Thomas (Port aux Basques, NL). Rowsell won 7-5 against Bernard Bird (Goose Bay, NL), then won 8-4 against Colin Thomas (St. John's, NL). Rowsell went on to lose 8-6 against Trent Skanes (St. John's, NL). Rowsell responded with a 6-2 win over Peddigrew. Rowsell won 7-4 against Symonds, then won 9-7 against Skanes in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Newfoundland & Labrador Tankard, Rowsell take home 2.475 world rankings points. For week 25 of the event schedule, Rowsell did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Rowsell ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
