In their opening game, Spencer lost 11-6 to Lisa Hale (Dauphin, MB), droppimg another game, 9-7 to Abby Ackland (Winnipeg, MB) where Spencer responded with a 8-6 win over Rebecca Lamb (Stonewall, MB). Spencer won 7-6 against Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, MB), then won 8-5 against Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB). Spencer went on to lose 12-2 against Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB). Spencer lost 10-6 to Alli Flaxey (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Spencer earned 5.214 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 48th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of -4.724 after improving upon their best so far this season. Spencer ranks 49th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 77.709 points earned so far this season.
