Greg Blyde (St. John's, NL) finished 5-5 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Blyde lost 8-6 to Desmond Young (Edmonton, AB), then responded with a 11-4 win over Trygg Jensen (Whitehorse, YK). Blyde won 8-6 against Sam Steep (Galt, ON). Blyde went on to lose 12-4 against Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC). Blyde lost 8-6 to Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) where Blyde responded with a 12-3 win over Javen Komaksiutiksak (Iqaluit, NU). Blyde won 10-6 against Graeme Weagle (Chester, NS), then won 9-5 against JT Ryan (Winnipeg, MB). Blyde went on to lose 8-3 against Vincent Roberge (Levis, QC). Blyde lost 9-5 to Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.

Blyde earned 5.960 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Blyde did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Blyde ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
