Jean-Sebastien Roy (Saguenay, QC) run at the 2019 Quebec WFG Tankard came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-6 loss to Martin Crete (Levis, QC). of the 2019 Quebec WFG Tankard in Shawinigan, Quebec;

Roy finished 9-0 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roy defeated Stephane Michaud (Trois-Rivieres, QC) 9-1, then won 7-5 against Alek Bedard (Boucherville, QC) and 12-7 against Mark Homan (Des Collines, QC). Roy won 8-6 against Steve Holdaway (Montreal, QC), then won 9-6 against Francois Gagne (Montreal, QC) and 6-5 against Crete. Roy won 7-4 against Steven Munroe (Levis, QC), then won 11-4 against Martin Ferland (Trois-Rivieres, QC) and 7-5 against Michael Fournier (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Roy earned 10.929 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Quebec WFG Tankard. Roy move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 5.449 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 36th overall with 108.493 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Roy ranks 38th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 93.578 points earned so far this season.
