Charlie Thompson (Eau Claire, WI) finished 2-5 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thompson lost 9-3 to Andrew Stopera (Briarcliff Manor, NY), then responded with a 10-6 win over Wesley Wendling (Wausau, WI). Thompson went on to lose 8-3 against Skyler Slusar (Hallock, MN). Thompson lost 8-3 to Kevin Tuma (St. Paul, MN) where Thompson responded with a 8-1 win over Tyler Hipke (Wauwatosa, WI). Thompson went on to lose 6-1 against Andrew McDonald (Hudson, OH). Thompson lost 11-3 to Chase Sinnett (Medfield, MA) in their final qualifying round match.

Thompson earned 1.764 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 23 of the event schedule, Thompson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Thompson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
