To advance to the championship game, Slusar won 5-4 over Andrew McDonald (Hudson, OH) in the semifinals of the 2019 USA Curling Junior Nationals Championship in Two Harbors, Minnesota;

Slusar finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Slusar defeated Tyler Hipke (Wauwatosa, WI) 7-6, then won 6-4 against Kevin Tuma (St. Paul, MN) and 8-3 against Charlie Thompson (Eau Claire, WI). Slusar went on to lose 8-2 against Stopera. Slusar responded with a 8-5 win over Wesley Wendling (Wausau, WI). Slusar won 9-6 against Chase Sinnett (Medfield, MA). Slusar went on to lose 8-3 against McDonald in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the USA Curling Junior Nationals Championship, Slusar take home 12.932 world rankings points. For week 23 of the event schedule, Slusar did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Slusar ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
