Korte went on to lose 8-6 against Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK). Korte responded with a 7-4 win over Shawn Meyer (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Korte earned 10.278 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Saskatchewan Tour Championship, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 104th place overall with 43.099 total points. Korte ranks 86th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 40.369 points earned so far this season.
