Stephen Imes (Columbus, OH) finished 2-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Imes defeated Nicholas Steinhaus (Mapleton, MN) 7-3, then went on to lose 12-3 against Chase Sinnett (Chaska, USA). Imes responded with a 8-7 win over Brandon Corbett (Rochester, NY). Imes went on to lose 9-0 against Sean Beighton (Madison, WI). Imes lost 7-2 to Steinhaus in their final qualifying round match.

Imes earned 1.238 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 18 spots the World Ranking Standings into 269th place overall with 6.896 total points. Imes ranks 247th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.875 points earned so far this season.
