In their opening game, Comeau defeated Melissa Michaud (Grand Falls, NB) 13-0, then won 7-1 against Julia Hunter (Sackville, NB) and 10-2 against Melodie Forsythe (Moncton, NB). Comeau won 5-3 against Erica Cluff (Woodstock, NB), then won 6-4 against Hunter and 5-4 against Forsythe. Comeau won 9-8 against Cluff in their final qualifying round match.
