Tippin finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tippin defeated Auld 7-6, then won 6-5 against Ashley Waye (Toronto, ON) and 5-4 against Chrissy Cadorin (Thornhill, ON). Tippin won 6-1 against Heather Heggestad (Oakville, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the CurlON Women's Cash Spiel - Midland, Tippin take home 18.755 world rankings points along with the $1,800CDN prize. For week 18 of the event schedule, Tippin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
