Richards finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Richards lost 8-5 to Brown, then responded with a 7-6 win over Kesa Van Osch (Parksville, BC). Richards won 7-6 against Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC), then won 6-5 against Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC). Richards went on to lose 7-6 against Diane Gushulak (New Westminster, BC). Richards responded with a 10-7 win over Kim Slattery (Vernon, BC). Richards went on to lose 7-6 against Lindsay Hudyma (Vancouver, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Richards earned 7.331 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the BC Scotties. For week 25 of the event schedule, Richards did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
