Lindsay Hudyma (Vancouver, BC) finished 4-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hudyma defeated Taylor Reese-Hansen (Victoria, BC) 8-3, then won 11-0 against Sarah Daniels (Delta, BC). Hudyma went on to lose 8-6 against Kim Slattery (Vernon, BC). Hudyma responded with a 6-5 win over Kayte Gyles (New Westminster, BC). Hudyma won 9-5 against Brette Richards (Kelowna, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the BC Scotties Open Event #1, Hudyma take home 10.886 world rankings points. For week 18 of the event schedule, Hudyma did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hudyma ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
