Alek Bedard (Montreal, QC) is set to play Steven Munroe (Levis, QC) in the Final of the Finale du Circuit, held November 29 - December 2, 2018 at the Aurèle Racine Curling Club in Tracy, Canada. Bedard finished 2-2 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bedard lost 8-4 to Stewart, droppimg another game, 10-1 to Jean-Sebastien Roy (Saguenay, QC) where Bedard responded with a 7-4 win over Mathieu Drapeau (Drummondville, QC). Bedard won 9-1 against Stephane Michaud (Trois-Rivieres, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Finale du Circuit, Bedard take home 13.890 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize. Bedard move up 70 spots after posting a net gain of 12.709 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 129th overall with 26.926 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
