In their opening game, Kroker defeated Chris Louie (Calgary, AB) 6-2, then went on to lose 6-5 against James Ballance (Okotoks, AB). Kroker responded with a 9-2 win over Tori McCabe (Leduc, AB). Kroker won 9-0 against Anthony Stewart (Rocky Mountain House, AB), then won 6-3 against Kyler Kurina (Lethbridge, AB) and 5-1 against Nicolas Oake (St. Albert, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
