Kim went on to lose 7-4 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships Championship title, Kim earned 20.948 world rankings points, moving up 24 spots the World Ranking Standings into 68th place overall with 62.461 total points. Kim ranks 47th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 50.359 points earned so far this season.
