Jean-Michel Menard (Gatineau, QC) won 7-6 over Robin Claveau (Montreal, QC) in the Final of the Experience Curling Classic, held November 7 - 11, 2018 at the Baie d'Urfé Curling Club in Baie d'Urfé, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Menard won 7-3 over Jean-Sebastien Roy (Saguenay, QC) in the semifinals of the 2018 Experience Curling Classic in Baie d'Urfé, Quebec, Canada; and won 6-5 over Steve Holdaway (Montreal, QC) in the quarterfinals.
 
Menard finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Menard defeated Roy 9-0, then won 6-5 against Ted Butler (Buckingham, QC) and 5-3 against Martin Patry (Buckingham, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Experience Curling Classic Championship title, Menard earned 12.586 world rankings points along with the $1,280CDN first prize cheque, moving up 39 spots the World Ranking Standings into 118th place overall with 32.656 total points. Menard ranks 127th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.834 points earned so far this season.
