Advancing directly to the semifinals, Jacques won 7-2 over Ryan Parent (Calgary, AB) to advance to the championship game. of the 2018 Balmoral Harvest Junior Mens Classic in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;
 
Jacques finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacques defeated Aaron Power (Edmonton, AB) 7-0, then went on to lose 8-4 against Parent. Jacques responded with a 9-7 win over Desmond Young (Airdrie, AB). Jacques won 8-2 against Mackenzie Charbonneau (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
