Dow finished 3-1 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dow defeated Martin Patry (Buckingham, QC) 7-4, then won 7-1 against Stephane Michaud (Trois-Rivieres, QC). Dow went on to lose 7-1 against Verreault. Dow responded with a 7-3 win over Sylvain Bellavance (Boucherville, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
