Min Ji Kim (chuncheon city, KOR) finished 5-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated Tori Koana (Fujiyoshida, JPN) 7-5, then went on to lose 6-5 against Cory Christensen (Chaska, USA).
