In their opening game, Hasselborg lost 6-5 to Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN), droppimg another game, 6-2 to Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) where Hasselborg responded with a 7-3 win over Ying Yang (Harbin, CHN). Hasselborg went on to lose 5-4 against Fujisawa. Hasselborg responded with a 7-2 win over Muirhead. Hasselborg won 8-3 against Yang in their final qualifying round match.
