Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) finished 3-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hasselborg lost 6-5 to Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN), droppimg another game, 6-2 to Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) where Hasselborg responded with a 7-3 win over Ying Yang (Harbin, CHN). Hasselborg went on to lose 5-4 against Fujisawa. Hasselborg responded with a 7-2 win over Muirhead. Hasselborg won 8-3 against Yang in their final qualifying round match.

Hasselborg earned 8.478 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 557.964 total points. Hasselborg ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 328.450 points earned so far this season.
