In their opening game, Fujisawa defeated Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) 6-5, then won 10-2 against Ying Yang (Harbin, CHN) and 7-6 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO). Fujisawa won 5-4 against Hasselborg, then won 8-2 against Yang. Fujisawa went on to lose 5-2 against Muirhead in their final qualifying round match.
