Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) finished 5-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fujisawa defeated Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) 6-5, then won 10-2 against Ying Yang (Harbin, CHN) and 7-6 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO). Fujisawa won 5-4 against Hasselborg, then won 8-2 against Yang. Fujisawa went on to lose 5-2 against Muirhead in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Curling World Cup Omaha Championship title, Fujisawa earned 56.521 world rankings points along with the $36,623CDN first prize cheque, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 7th place overall with 317.456 total points. Fujisawa ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 189.341 points earned so far this season.
