Tracy Fleury (Winnipeg, CAN) finished 4-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fleury defeated Alina Kovaleva (Saint-Petersburg, RUS) 7-5, then went on to lose 6-4 against Min Ji Kim (chuncheon city, KOR). Fleury responded with a 7-5 win over Jamie Sinclair (Chaska, USA). Fleury won 7-6 against Kovaleva. Fleury went on to lose 5-3 against Kim. Fleury responded with a 7-4 win over Sinclair in their final qualifying round match.

Fleury earned 27.318 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 6th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 23.762 after improving upon their best so far this season. Fleury ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 195.702 points earned so far this season.
