Ethan Young (Halifax, NS) lost 8-2 to Graeme Weagle (Chester, NS) in the Final of the Lakeshore U21 Junior Mens Spiel, held October 26 - 28, 2018 at the Lakeshore Curling Club in Lower Sackville, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Young won 7-6 over Justin Gray (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2018 Lakeshore U21 Junior Mens Spiel in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, Canada;
 
Young finished 1-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Young lost 6-3 to Weagle, then responded with a 10-2 win over Mitchell Schut (Cornwall, PEI). Young went on to lose 8-4 against Gray in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 11 of the event schedule, Young did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Young ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
