To advance to the championship game, Selzer won 6-2 over Rae Ann Williamson (Regina, SK) in the semifinals of the 2018 Moose Jaw SWCT Event in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 5-4 over Shalon Fleming (Regina, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Moose Jaw SWCT Event in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Selzer finished 1-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Selzer lost 7-5 to Williamson, droppimg another game, 9-3 to Penny Barker (Regina, SK) where Selzer responded with a 7-5 win over Madison Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Moose Jaw SWCT Event, Selzer take home 12.584 world rankings points along with the $1,100CDN prize.
