Michelle Englot (Regina, SK) lost 6-4 to Candace Chisholm (Carlyle, SK) in the Final of the Highland SWCT Event, held September 28 - 30, 2018 in Regina, Saskatchewan. To advance to the championship game, Englot won 4-1 over Mandy Selzer (Regina, SK) in the semifinals of the 2018 Highland SWCT Event in Regina, Saskatchewan; and won 4-3 over Rae Ann Williamson (Regina, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Highland SWCT Event in Regina, Saskatchewan;

Englot finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Englot defeated Krystal Englot (Regina, SK) 10-2, then won 9-1 against Kaitlyn Bowman (Weyburn, SK). Englot went on to lose 8-6 against Brett Barber (Biggar, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Highland SWCT Event, Englot take home 15.814 world rankings points along with the $1,480CDN prize, moving up 17 spots the World Ranking Standings into 56th place overall with 61.496 total points. Englot ranks 57th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.814 points earned so far this season.
