Tanya Hilliard (Dartmouth, NS) run at the 2018 Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-2 loss to Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS). of the 2018 Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel in Moncton, New Brunswick; Hilliard advanced through the quarterfinals with a 7-2 win over Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI).

Hilliard finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hilliard defeated Nancy McConnery (Halifax, NS) 8-7, then went on to lose 7-4 against Mary Myketyn-Driscoll (Halifax, NS). Hilliard responded with a 6-4 win over Birt. Hilliard went on to lose 4-2 against Andrea Crawford (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

Hilliard earned 13.175 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel.
