Andrea Crawford (Fredericton, NB) won 8-7 over Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel, held October 19 - 21, 2018 in Moncton, New Brunswick. To advance to the championship game, Crawford won 5-1 over Colleen Jones (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2018 Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel in Moncton, New Brunswick; and won 7-1 over Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton , NB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel in Moncton, New Brunswick;

Crawford finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Crawford lost 6-5 to Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI), then responded with a 10-1 win over Nancy McConnery (Halifax, NS). Crawford won 6-5 against Mary Myketyn-Driscoll (Halifax, NS), then won 4-2 against Tanya Hilliard (Dartmouth, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel Championship title, Crawford earned 23.250 world rankings points along with the $1,800CDN first prize cheque. Crawford move up 17 spots after posting a net gain of 19.178 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 56th overall with 69.096 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Crawford ranks 50th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 36.521 points earned so far this season.
