Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS) lost 8-7 to Andrea Crawford (Fredericton, NB) in the Final of the Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel, held October 19 - 21, 2018 in Moncton, New Brunswick. To advance to the championship game, Arsenault won 7-2 over Tanya Hilliard (Dartmouth, NS) in the semifinals of the 2018 Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel in Moncton, New Brunswick; and won 9-6 over Kristen MacDiarmid (Halifax, NS) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel in Moncton, New Brunswick;

Arsenault finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Arsenault lost 6-3 to Theresa Breen (Halifax, NS), then responded with a 6-2 win over Sarah Fullerton (Charlottetown/Summerside, PEI). Arsenault won 5-3 against Sarah Mallais (Saint John, NB). Arsenault went on to lose 8-3 against Colleen Jones (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel, Arsenault take home 17.050 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN prize, remaining in 28th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 8.383 after improving upon their best so far this season. Arsenault ranks 25th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 60.729 points earned so far this season.
