Jessica Mitchell (Saskatoon, SK) qualified for the 2018 Humboldt SWCT playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-2 against Rachel Fritzler (Saskatoon , SK). of the 2018 Humboldt SWCT in Humboldt, Saskatchewan;

Mitchell finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mitchell defeated Rae Ann Williamson (Regina, SK) 7-2, then went on to lose 8-2 against Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK). Mitchell responded with a 7-0 win over Melissa Kucey (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Mitchell earned 9.290 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Humboldt SWCT. Mitchell move up 14 spots after posting a net gain of 7.866 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 85th overall with 48.124 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Mitchell ranks 72nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 41.005 points earned so far this season.
