To advance to the championship game, Hilliard won 5-3 over Sarah Fullerton (Charlottetown/Summerside, PEI) in the semifinals
 
Hilliard finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hilliard defeated Theresa Breen (Halifax, NS) 6-5, then went on to lose 7-3 against Mary Myketyn-Driscoll (Halifax, NS). Hilliard responded with a 6-4 win over Julie McEvoy (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the The Curling Store Cashspiel Championship title, Hilliard earned 19.095 world rankings points along with the $2,100CDN first prize cheque, moving up 115 spots the World Ranking Standings into 124th place overall with 19.783 total points. Hilliard ranks 50th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.095 points earned so far this season.
