To advance to the championship game, Koe won 6-5 over Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2019 Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship in Lethbridge, Alberta; and won 6-5 over Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship in Lethbridge, Alberta;
 
Koe finished 9-3 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated SooHyuk Kim (Seoul, KOR) 6-5, then won 11-3 against Sergei Glukhov (Sochi, RUS) and 9-5 against Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA). Koe won 8-6 against Qiang Zou (Beijing, CHN), then won 10-2 against Magnus Ramsfjell (Oslo, NOR) and 7-4 against Marc Muskatewitz (Baden Baden, GER). Koe went on to lose 9-3 against Yuta Matsumura (Sapporo, JPN). Koe lost 9-4 to Edin where Koe responded with a 6-3 win over John Shuster (Duluth, USA). Koe went on to lose 8-6 against Mouat. Koe responded with a 10-3 win over De Cruz. Koe won 6-5 against Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship, Koe take home 63.125 world rankings points, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 31.447 after improving upon their best so far this season. Koe ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 462.853 points earned so far this season.
