Carter Watkins (Winnipeg, MB) won 8-3 over Zachary Wasylik (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the MJCT Tour Championships, held November 30 - December 2, 2018 at the Fort Garry Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Watkins won 5-4 over Ryan Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals

Watkins finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Watkins defeated Nolan Hadway (Winnipeg, MB) 9-7, then won 6-4 against Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) and 3-2 against Josh Maisey (Winnipeg Beach, MB). Watkins went on to lose 5-3 against Jack Hykaway (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 16 of the event schedule, Watkins did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Watkins ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
