Meghan Walter (Winnipeg, MB) won 7-4 over Mackenzie Zacharias (Altona, MB) in the Final of the Larry Jones Junior Classic, held September 27 - 30, 2018 at the St. Vital Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Walter won 8-5 over Cassandra Stobbe (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2018 Larry Jones Junior Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 5-4 over Maya Willertz (Midland, USA) in the quarterfinals.
 
Walter finished 3-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walter defeated Abbey Kitchens (Fargo, ND) 8-5, then won 6-5 against Katy Lukowich (Winnipeg, MB) and 4-2 against Serena Gray-Withers (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
