Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC) 7-5, then won 8-1 against Gabriel Kwok (Richmond, BC). Tao went on to lose 4-2 against Brayden Carpenter (New Westminster, BC). Tao responded with a 8-3 win over Alex Duncan-Wu (New Westminster , BC) in their final qualifying round match.
