Jestyn Murphy (Mississauga, ON) run at the 2019 Ontario Scotties came to an end in the semifinals with a 11-4 loss to Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON). of the 2019 Ontario Scotties in Elmira, Ontario;

Murphy finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Murphy defeated Jacqueline Harrison (Ottawa, ON) 6-3, then went on to lose 8-7 against Hollie Duncan (Toronto, ON). Murphy responded with a 8-7 win over Chelsea Brandwood (Listowel, ON). Murphy went on to lose 7-5 against Cathy Auld (Kingston, ON). Murphy responded with a 9-5 win over Tippin. Murphy won 8-4 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON), then won 6-3 against Lauren Horton (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Murphy earned 12.750 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Ontario Scotties. For week 25 of the event schedule, Murphy did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Murphy ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
