Glenn Howard (Penetanguishene, ON) run at the 2019 Ontario Tankard came to an end in the semifinals with a 10-6 loss to John Epping (Toronto, ON). of the 2019 Ontario Tankard in Elmira, Ontario;

Howard finished 7-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Dayna Deruelle (Harriston, ON) 5-4, then won 9-8 against Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) and 8-1 against Colin Dow (Ottawa, ON). Howard went on to lose 7-5 against Scott McDonald (Kingston, ON). Howard responded with a 9-1 win over Greg Balsdon (Kingston, ON). Howard won 5-4 against Rob Retchless (Toronto, ON), then won 8-3 against Charley Thomas (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON). Howard went on to lose 7-5 against Epping. Howard responded with a 9-4 win over Mark Bice (Sarnia, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Howard earned 18.067 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Ontario Tankard. For week 25 of the event schedule, Howard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Howard ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
