Deruelle went on to lose 10-6 against Greg Balsdon (Kingston, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Deruelle earned 6.377 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 16 spots the World Ranking Standings into 96th place overall with 41.673 total points. Deruelle ranks 98th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 38.303 points earned so far this season.
