Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) won 6-3 over Kristy Watling (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Morris SunSpiel, held September 14 - 16, 2018 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Einarson won 5-3 over Jennifer Clark-Rouire (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2018 Morris SunSpiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Einarson finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson defeated Patsy Gregoire (Winnipeg, MB) 9-1, then won 6-1 against Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) and 8-3 against Hayley Bergman (Morris, MB). Einarson went on to lose 9-2 against Watling in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Morris SunSpiel Championship title, Einarson earned 23.321 world rankings points along with the $1,800CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 10th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 19.712 after improving upon their best so far this season. Einarson ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 77.348 points earned so far this season.
