To advance to the championship game, Arsenault won 7-4 over Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) in the semifinals
Arsenault finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Arsenault defeated Myketyn-Driscoll 6-1, then won 7-5 against Samantha Crook (Sackville, NB). Arsenault went on to lose 8-2 against Colleen Jones (Halifax, NS). Arsenault responded with a 6-5 win over Tanya Hilliard (Dartmouth, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the New Scotland Clothing Ladies Cashspiel Championship title, Arsenault earned 19.013 world rankings points along with the $1,750CDN first prize cheque. Arsenault move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 10.347 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 27th overall with 121.676 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Arsenault ranks 23rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 43.679 points earned so far this season.
