Meek finished 4-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Meek lost 7-6 to Chad Dahlseide (Calgary, AB), then responded with a 8-6 win over Shadrach Mcleod (Yellowknife, NT). Meek went on to lose 7-1 against Josh Lambden (Airdrie, AB). Meek responded with a 6-4 win over Rick Phillips (Olds, AB). Meek won 8-4 against Kevin Park (Edmonton, AB), then won 7-6 against Rob Johnson (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
