Parker Doig (Coldwater, ON) finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Doig defeated Maya Willertz (Midland, USA) 6-1, then won 6-2 against Erin Titkai (Ottawa, ON). Doig went on to lose 5-4 against Veronica Bernard (Kingston, ON). Doig lost 8-3 to Siyu Han (Changchun, CHN) where Doig responded with a 7-1 win over Thea Coburn (Dundas, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
