Cotter finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cotter defeated Matthew Blandford (Victoria, BC) 9-2, then won 4-2 against Dean Joanisse (Maple Ridge, BC) and 7-5 against Montgomery in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the BC Mens Curling Championship Championship title, Cotter earned 17.719 world rankings points, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 42nd place overall with 97.832 total points. WOLFVILLE, N.S. — Edmonton’s Team Selena Sturmay solidified a berth into the 2025 Montana’s Canadian Curling Trials, presented by Connect Hearing, with a 9-4 win over Team Kayla MacMillan (Victoria) in the third and final game of the women’s best-of-three final at the 2025 Home Hardware Canadian Pre-Trials on Sunday afternoon.
