In their opening game, Westhagen defeated Bianca Debden (Melbourne, AUS) 16-2, then went on to lose 6-5 against Tahli Gill (Brisbane, AUS). Westhagen responded with a 7-6 win over Debden. Westhagen won 8-7 against Lauren Wagner (Melbourne, AUS). Westhagen went on to lose 7-5 against Gill in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Australian Womens Curling Championship, Westhagen take home 3.300 world rankings points, dropping 189 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 189th place overall with 3.300 total points. Westhagen ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.300 points earned so far this season.
