Colin Dow (Ottawa, ON) won 3-2 over Steve Allen (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the CurlON Men's Cash Spiel - RCMP, held December 14 - 16, 2018 in Omaha, Nebraska. To advance to the championship game, Dow won 5-4 over Frank O'Driscoll (Ottawa, ON) in the semifinals

Dow finished 4-0 in the 5-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dow defeated Allen 6-5, then won 4-3 against Dennis Elgie (Metcalfe, ON) and 7-6 against Greg Balsdon (Kingston, ON). Dow won 7-0 against O'Driscoll in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the CurlON Men's Cash Spiel - RCMP Championship title, Dow earned 6.750 world rankings points along with the $1,900CDN first prize cheque. Dow move up 5 spots after posting a net gain of 0.743 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 75th overall with 56.293 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Dow ranks 94th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 32.262 points earned so far this season.
