Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK) run at the 2018 Estevan SCT came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-4 loss to Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK). of the 2018 Estevan SCT in Estevan, Saskatchewan; Hartung advanced through the quarterfinals with a 6-3 win over Shane Vollman (Regina, SK). of the 2018 Estevan SCT in Estevan, Saskatchewan;

Hartung went on to lose 11-7 against Ryan Deis (Fox Valley, SK). Hartung responded with a 9-6 win over Howard in their final qualifying round match.

Hartung earned 7.406 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Estevan SCT. Hartung move up 80 spots after posting a net gain of 6.618 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 210th overall with 12.409 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
